first time seller, shipping is $340.00!
I have sold an antique coca cola sign which is 10 ft long 4 ft high and weighs 60 pounds. I couldnt list the shipping in the ad bc I didnt know where the winning bidder would live. So How does the buyer pay for the item and the shipping? Is it two seperate payments? Paid to ebay or do they pay for the item and arrange shipping on their own? does ebay include the shipping cost in the final value fee? thank you for your help!

·1 year agoYou listed the Coke sign with local pickup only so there will be no shipping.
The buyer has to come to you to pick it up!

·1 year agoIf you had listed your item with require payment immediately, rhen you will have to cancel the order and re-list it with that option off.
Otherwise, if the buyer has not made payment to you yet you will have to find out the shipping charges and send them and updated invoice.
First send them a message asking them not to pay until they receive a new invoice with updated shipping costs from you.
Then, after agreeing on a new delivery service, send them an invoice including the updated charges. Here’s how:
