First time seller question
Summary: mattyice0293 shared a concern about listing and selling four oil filters as a single item on eBay. Hello all,
I recently listed 4 oil filters for sale and in the listing I stated I am selling them all together, and priced them accordingly.
In my listing the quantity was 4 and today I received and offer that I accepted. After selling, I notice the quantity now says 3 and I'm unsure how to proceed from here because the listing is still active although I already shipped the 4 filters out to my buyer.
I assume the buyer's intention was to buy all 4 because I accepted an offer that was close to my asking price, and I find it hard to believe he would order 1 filter for $40. I messaged the buyer to clarify and awaiting a response, but I already shipped them out anyway.
Should I wait until the buyer receives the item, I get paid, and then cancel (end) the listing? Ebay support has been no help on this issue.
Sorry, I know noob move here, but like I said I've never sold on ebay before and still learning the Ins and outs.

Mentor1 month agoif the listing was for a lot of 4, and it was sold as such, end the listing, sounds like u set it up as 4 separate items instead of 1 item for a 4 item lot

If I end the listing now before the buyer receives the item, will that affect the buyer's tracking or my payment?

Mentor1 month agono, it will prevent anyone else from buying what u won't be able to fulfill, will have to cancel due to out of stock and will receive a defect on your account
