First time return
I have a customer wanting to return an item due to an inaccuracy in my posting. I have no problem receiving the return and giving a refund. The buyer is demanding I send a return label and packaging for them … is that how it works? Or does the buyer need to initiate the return through eBay and then print a return label?

·3 years agoThey need to open a Return Request for the item on their Purchase History. The seller is responsible for return shipping when item is not as described. Packing is up to the buyer. Maybe he can use the packaging that it came in. No, the seller does not have to furnish packaging. But you do issue a prepaid return shipping label which is on the case. Two days or earlier after you receive the item back you need to refund in full. You avoid a defect.

OP3 years agothanks. That is what I thought (they needed to initiate it from their purchase history). Very rude customer and very poor language in the comments to me. Mistake on my part (I take full responsibility).
