First sale verification of bank
I received a message about verification of my banking to pay me for my first sale. I have a bad feeling I just got scammed on my bank account, does anyone remember what that process looked like. I set up my bank days ago and had to provide all information again including bank balance. Please Lord don't let this be a scam

Providing a bank balance was a scam.
I'm sorry
Contact your bank today to alert them to the issue. You may need to change your account (ask for the bank's advice on that)

2) Type "I need help"
3) Click "Fraud" (or your topic)
4) Type "Agent" in the chat window
5) You may need to click "Something Else" or "More Options" or type "Agent" a few more times
6) Click “Have Us Call You†(or "Chat with an Agent")
-- If you use a call filter on your phone, turn it off temporarily, or it might block the incoming call.

You have not sold anything on this account. If you have it would be in this file in Seller Hub: Orders — eBay Seller Hub
Since that is most likely a scam you might log in to your bank account and change your password and then contact them ASAP during business hours. Hopefully you did not provide your password info on the message ... I assume it was in eBay messaging not an email right?
You can use the three dots in the upper right of the message and Report it to eBay.

OP8 months agoThank you I did not provide any passwords but they did get all my information. I will notify ebay and my bank in the morning. I feel sick. Next time I will know to look at the hub. Hopefully this didn't wipe me out. Thank you so much for your time.
