Why can't I choose first class shipping for small items which are eligible for first class?

Mentor10 months agoYou can list items with first class shipping option, however, that option is not available for printing online.
eBay cannot offer first class shipping printing as it is not a trackable shipping option.
You would have to put stamps on the item or take it to the post office.
Here are some requirements for first class shipping
Check with the post office or the USPS website for more information.

Mentor10 months agoWhen the buyer pays, they need to be able to select a shipping option.
I rarely (almost never) get a buyer to select a shipping option and almost always go with the default.
You have to determine your risk factor when offering first class shipping. Obviously, it is better for buyers because it is less expensive, but you don't have any tracking so you need to be prepared to refund if a buyer claims they did not get it. You likely will come out ahead by increasing sales versus a refund now and again.
I would just put what is best for you as the first option and state in the listing that there are other options available when they check out. You can name them in the listing if you would like. Then when you list, put in the options you offer in the shipping section.
