Mentor4 months agoYou can't purchase a First Class label through eBay as it has no tracking.
You will need to either use stamps or go to post office and purchase shipping....it won't have tracking though

Mentor4 months ago@katrinka24 ,
If you received a message from ebay saying there is a delay in purchasing labels through them save down load a screen shot of the full message.
They most likely will not add a defect to your account if you cannot ship on time because of a delay in purchasing labels through the site. If you do get defects you can get them removed by downloading the screen shot proving the delay was ebay's fault not yours.

OP4 months agowhen i posted the item first class mail envelope was a choice. As my item fit that catagory I chose that and priced shipping accordingly. Now it is coming up with different shipping at double what I charged the customer and won't let me change it back to what I chose This is on 3 seperate orders. I don't know what to do, I sure don't want to cancel all these orders but am not going to pay someone to take them. Any advice

Mentor4 months agoYou cannot purchase first class labels online.
You need to take the items to the post office or use stamps to mail them.
First class mail does not have tracking so there is no delivery confirmation.
You can offer this shipping on the eBay listing, but you need to ship with stamps or at the Post Office.
This is an inexpensive way to ship lightweight items. There are rules that apply to first class mail. The post office can help you with the envelope requirements.

OP4 months agoYes you can, I have done it recently. As long as item fits the 3 oz or less and size. Now for some reason 3 of my orders have been changed to ground advantage making the shipping double what I asked for. I can't do that. If I put postage on these and mail myself these is no tracking and proof of delivery so ebay pays me. What do I do

Mentor4 months agoYou are talking about the eBay standard envelope. That is a special mailing service.
eBay standard envelope | eBay
If it is not available it may have to do with the category it is listed in, the size of the envelope you input in the shipping details, or the price it sold for is too high.
Read the details at the above link to see if the items you sold qualify for that shipping and why it may not be available for those sales.
First class mail is not the same as eBay standard envelope.
You sold three hankies with "first class mail" which is not the same as the standard envelope.
As I stated before, first class mail cannot be printed online. I am also sure that hankies do not qualify for the eBay standard envelope. You can use eBay standard envelope to ship trading cards, currency and coins, postcards, stamps, patches, stickers, decals, greeting cards, and seeds.
