Hi everyone,
I'm on a quest to find a copy of an out-of-print piano Christmas music book, specifically "Colors of Christmas: Arrangements for Piano" by Don Phillips and David Carnes, published in 1994. It's proven to be quite a challenge, and I'm reaching out to the community for advice and shared experiences in tracking down rare or out-of-print music books.
Have any of you successfully located such books? What strategies or resources have you found most helpful in your search? Whether it's local bookstores, online platforms, or even reaching out to publishers directly, I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. Additionally, if anyone has a copy of this particular book or knows where it might be available, your guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to hearing your insights!

Mentor5 days ago · EditedYes this is out of print and likely permanently. Best to do a search on ebay with search description enabled and save the search with the alert left on. Although don't hold your breathe, I once wait twenty years to find one piece of sheet music, then of course found a half dozen.
Another resource is to go to a good library that has subscribed to special paid search engines that find things the normal public ones will not. Also I have found rare out of print items in college libraries that have a music program and they usually will copy it for free for you.
