Final Sale Item that doesn't work and isn't in the condition described in the listing!?
OK. I know there's a risk buying something from a seller that doesn't accept returns. But I bought some earbuds on December 31 and received them in early January. They were described as open-box, in excellent, like new condition. And they were great.
Before the end of February, one of the earbuds stopped working properly... it's charge time diminished over a week or so, until it only lasted 90 minutes; the other one was only down to 70%. The case was still fully charged. I cleaned all of the contacts, did a hard reset on them, unpaired and re-paired them a few times, and charged them with different USB cables.
I reached out to the seller for help, but didn't get a response; so a week later, I reached out again. I received a screenshot of the manufacturer's self-help tips, which I'd already seen. I tried everything one more time with no luck. I reached out again, providing screenshots, and I haven't heard back.
And now, I can't figure out how to get any help from eBay about this issue, the website keeps taking me in circles and telling me "the return window has closed". What?
What else should I do? Apparently I threw money down the drain, which is a shame.

Mentor6 months ago@hulagirl1962 The eBay Money Back Guarantee does override the sellers no return policy for items that are somehow not as described or defective. HOWEVER it is only good for 30 days from the date of delivery.
An eBay agent can not extend the 30 day limit.
You can however file a chargeback with your payment method for an item that is significantly not as described.
