Filters fraud
When selecting a filter such as “USA ONLY “ be careful and check your seller carefully and then they still may TRICK YOU and you end up having to go through cancelling or buying from another Country. I think e-bay should fix this before they lose too much business.

Mentor9 months agoWhen you look at the seller's feedback page, click on the About tab. It will show if the seller is in the US or not. I want the item to be in the US and I want a US seller too, so I always check this. @drummer4jc2u

OP9 months agoThanks, I didn’t realize that even though I selected the filter, they were still able to post, that was my complaint, I mean what’s the purpose of the filter, they should address the dishonesty, instead they try to act like it’s the victims fault. Anyway live and learn.

The "US only" item location filter selects items that are listed as being in the United States; however, as you have seen, not every seller that lists items in the US ships from the US as they should.
Before ordering you should check the estimated delivery dates -- that is a good indication of how far away items actually ship from. Also, going to a seller's profile page or feedback page will tell you where the seller's account was registered. Although some overseas sellers do use US warehouses to ship their items (and some registered US-sellers may employ overseas drop-shippers), if a seller is registered overseas, that raises the likelihood of an item shipping from outside the US, particularly for multiple quantity commodity items. Checking seller feedback will often reveal if there are problems with long shipping times, canceled orders or other supply chain warning signs.

OP9 months agoI do look at the shipping dates estimated, and they look legit 3-5 days but I don’t see the buyer info till after I purchase when I’m reviewing the order and then I see the full name is a page long😎 but I didn’t think to read the reviews thanks.

If the shipping estimate is three to five days, then you can file an "item not received" case on day six.

Spending a little time up front investigating your sellers before committing to a purchase can potentially save you a lot of time and effort that you would otherwise waste waiting for items to be shipped from overseas or sending items back to overseas sellers.
