Fill like a scam
Hi, I’m trying to buy a car from somebody and they say I that eBay is selling it for him so eBay sent me an email and invoice. Tell me I had to go Bye, eBay pay card scratch it off and send the numbers to the email for payment. Is that how it’s usually done

This is a common scam, and you are dealing with a criminal who is trying to steal your money.
eBay has nothing to do with listings on other sites. If the item isn't listed on the eBay website and if you don't purchase it through the eBay listing, the transaction has nothing to do with eBay.

We see this several times a day.
Ebays has nothing to do with anything you may see on some other website! Facebook?

OP2 years agoYes it is on Facebook then they went on to tell me that they have moved out of state and eBay was going to sell the car for them. Send me a fake invoice and I felt like it was just a scam

OP2 years agoReally appreciate it i was really going to do it into i took a deep breath slowed down and thought to myself way they wanted me to get ebay gift cards instead of paying online
