Filing a claim for items broken by USPS
Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to file a claim for an item that was broken during transit. It was packed well but broke any way, and I can’t find the option to file a claim. All I can find is how to return.

If you are the buyer then the SELLER is the one that refunds you. You provide the seller with photos of the item, the box, and the packing material. Hold on to all items in case USPS wants to see the items.
The buyer does not wait for the insurance payout if any. The seller refunds as soon as the buyer files a refund request.
Insurance claims are filed on the USPS site.
