Fees were ridiculous

Question

I just sold something on Ebay and they charged me 22.5%. I am so offended. BUT I can't find any way to talk to a real person about this. Any suggestions.

You sold the rug for a Best offer of $ 2,000 and it has Freight shipping on it for some reason. I assume that if it was rolled up it would ship by USPS, FedEx or UPS but your listing has NO dimensions on how big it is???

eBay fees are based on the TOTAL of the Item price + paid shipping from the Buyer + Sales tax if levied on the transaction. What new Sellers often do is they take the fess they paid on the TOTAL amount but just divide it into the Item price and the % gets skewed.

Did you Promote the listing for a certain %.

Click on the Order details of the sold item and then look over on the right for a breakdown of what the Buyer paid and then what your fees and costs were.
