Its bee awhile since EBay started the Promote option. It seems that if you do not use it, you get almost NO views. And using it forces the seller to raise the price of everything. Does that seem fair?

Mentor9 months agoMany sellers sell lots of things without using any sponsored listings at all. Most of the things I buy are not promoted.
It is not necessary to pay for promotion to get views or sales.
It can be helpful to promote a listing in a crowded field if there is lots of competition, but it is hardly required. No one is forced to compete in a particular category, and no one is forced to promote listings to sell.
