Why are we paying final value fees on taxes?

Mentor3 years ago1. All payment processors charge their fee on the total payment.
2. The math is easier.
3. eBay lowered the % when they started collecting the tax, so if they don't charge the fee on the tax, the % would go up - the fee would not go down.
