FEEDBACK RECEIVED IS ALL THE SAME
After making a sale I am receiving buyer feedback that is all the same. It says "Item delivered on time with no issues" It seems automated and not personally from the buyer. Whyyy and how do I change it back so the buyer themselves can leave their own personal comments?

That is eBay leaving automated feedback for you when your buyer doesn’t leave feedback. eBay waits until the return window is past before leaving it for you. I know of no way for you to opt out.

OP8 months agoHello Wooden_flower,
Thank you so much for your reply and the info.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the good feedback being left by Ebay, but I do pride myself on being a good seller who ships quickly and always used to enjoy reading the personal feedback left by the buyer. I have been getting this automated feedback for probably 6 months or so? and find it hard to believe that not one buyer has personally left me any feedback and thought maybe for some reason they were not able to. I guess I will just be thankful for the good feedback regardless of who it is from. LOL
Thanks again!

The increased feedback number boosts buyer confidence, so it is a trade off.
I’ve never had them leave automated feedback on one of my purchases, so I don’t know what the buyer sees when eBay has already left feedback. Maybe I’ll wait 31 days n my next purchase, so I can see it ðŸ˜

On September 3rd last year eBay launched their Auto-Feedback feature which automatically posts a Positive Feedback for Sellers if a Buyer does not leave FB within 7 - 10 days of delivery confirmation (exact time period is still questionable).
When Auto-FB is left for a Seller the transaction will still show that the Buyer needs to leave FB. Your FB count will go up and on your FB History page there is a check box on the right to see the Auto-FB. Buyers can overwrite the Auto-FB within the normal FB time frame of 60 days but failing that the Seller will retain the Auto-FB and the increased FB count on their ID. Auto-FB is NOT visible to anyone looking at your FB history.
I liken this to "No news is good news" and Sellers are rewarded accordingly.

But you are right, No news is good news, so I guess I will settle for the automated comments.
