Feedback rating dropped and negative reviews from 5+ years ago
I’m having problems with my seller rating which recently dropped from 96% to 90% after I called eBay about an issue with one of my listings. Prior to that phone call my rating was 96.9%.
Since then I have had several sales and only positive feedback. However, now my rating has dropped to 90%. I just looked at my feedback and for some reason even though I have had lots and lots of positive feedback in the last two years, it is showing two negative feedback issues that are over five years old. Both of them I commented back to the person who left the feedback and the issues were resolved. However, it looks to me like my comments have been removed and don’t even show so therefore it just looks like I failed to ship items and never responded to the buyers which is absolutely untrue.
Just now, I received a callback from eBay that I asked for and waited almost 20 minutes for. I explained to the girl on the call why I was calling and midsentence she hung up on me.
I find this extremely frustrating. Not only is there no direct way to call eBay. I don’t even know how to write a letter to get it responded to.
I feel very frustrated that I feel like they are happy to take our money as sellers, but not happy to resolve any issues. I also want to know why my seller rating dropped so drastically and negative feedback from over five years ago is suddenly showing up on my feedback.
Anybody who could help would be greatly appreciated.
