Feedback positive option only?
Was leaving feedback and only option available was positive? Can anyone explain what this is about?

·3 years agoThe buyer can have the comment removed, keep the positive and you would get a policy violation.

·3 years agoBuyers can only be given positive feedback. The commitment you left is a policy violation and the buyer can have it removed. Did you cancel the sale due to nonpayment? The gives the buyer a strike and your fees will be returned.

Mentor3 years agoeBay did away with option for sellers to leave negative feedback for buyers in 2008 because some sellers were using the threat of retaliatory negatives and mutual withdrawal to avoid getting well-deserved negative feedback. That made it harder for buyers to distinguish between good and bad sellers, which is the purpose of the feedback system.
