Feedback on Buyers
Hello,
How can I get rid of tasks to send Feedback on Buyers who never bought the item --instead they didn't pay, asked to have the order cancelled, returned the item, etc? Thanks!

Mentor2 years agoIf a buyer hasn't paid by day five, select the cancellation option in the dropdown next to the order using the reason that the buyer hasn't paid. The buyer will earn an unpaid item strike on his account. Two or more and his ability to buy will be limited or even ended.
Add the buyer to your blocked buyer list here:
https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements
Scroll down that page and turn on the option to auto-block buyers with 2 or more unpaid items within 12 months. That will help to protect you from repeat offenders.
After doing that, if the prompt to leave feedback is still there and you don't want to see the transaction, you can archive the transaction (using the option in the dropdown next to the order).

OP2 years agoHello,
I archived the orders that were cancelled but they are STILL waiting for my feedback. I have 6 of them still just sitting there. I can't possibly give positive or negative feedback for these incomplete orders for them to go away.
Thank you.

Mentor2 years agoAre you using Seller Hub? I leave feedback right after shipping, and when I archive orders, they do not appear in my orders list or in my Shipped and awaiting feedback category (as they were never shipped).
If you don't use Seller Hub, which I highly recommend you do, you'll just need to ignore them until they age off.

OP2 years agoYes, I absolutely use Seller Hub and it's there, under Overview, Scroll down to Feedback, Feedback for Buyers, Leave Feedback is exactly what I am referring to...it lists all these orders I have: 1)one I had to cancel because the buyer didn't realize it was the wrong size after they purchased it, 2) one that the person returned it back to me, 3)another one I am waiting for a return to be sent back and 3) another one, the buyer never paid so it was never even sent.
Why am I obligated to leave feedback for these incomplete transactions? I have clicked on the "x" to close the feedback box but it shows back up the next time I go to check on Leaving Feedback. I would just like them to be gone so I don't have to keep reminding myself why they are still there.
Thank you inceptions!

Mentor2 years agoI never use that link - I don't even pay attention to it. I leave it from the link I highlighted above. That way, I only leave feedback for items I've shipped.
You are NOT obligated to leave feedback - ever. Leaving feedback is entirely voluntary. And you certainly wouldn't want to leave positive feedback for buyers who haven't paid.
