Feedback for seller who refused to sell to me
I bid on an item and the offer was refused. I made a second bid that was ignored and timed out. I sent texts/comments to seller who never replied to me and then when I went to buy the item for full price the system told me that the seller would not accept bids nor sell it to me.
I asked the ebay staff to explain why the seller refused to sell the item to me and they had no answers; said they couldn't communicate with the seller in any other way than sending a message. Probably 4 messages have been ignored by this seller.
The seller has "100%" positive feedback with 2 "neutral" responses.
I want to give feedback on this seller, but can't because I didn't buy anything from them; I certainly tried.
I don't believe that I'm the only one who has had a bad experience with this seller; I'd like to try and warn other's so that they might avoid my experience. Any thoughts?

·10 months agoIt sounds like the seller chose to block you from purchasing, which would also result in any message you send them being blocked (though you will not be notified when sending a message, it simply will not be displayed to the seller).
Sellers are allowed to block any buyer for any reason, and are not required to provide that reason to the buyer or eBay. eBay will not force the seller to remove the block or allow you to contact the seller. You will need to find the item you want from a different seller. Since you did not purchase anything from them, there is nothing to provide feedback about.

Mentor10 months agoDid you make an OFFER or did you place a BID? They are two different things. Sellers are not required to accept offers. Bids do not "time out".
You cannot leave feedback unless you have had a transaction with the seller. There is nothing to "warn" others from.

Without reading those texts/comments, I'm just guessing, I think that something you wrote alarmed the seller, and he was concerned that you would be trouble down the road.
