Feedback for Purchases
Why can I leave blanket feedback for items I've sold (like 50 feedbacks with one click), but eBay requires me to leave individual feedback (one at a time) for items I've purchased? Hugely time consuming!!
Sorry, I no longer leave feedback for purchased items. Why waste my time? Hey eBay, why not just make purchase feedback the same as seller feedback? One click for all items? Then I would do it.

Mentor1 year agoWhen I click on leave feedback, I see custom FB and stored FB. I have some all-purpose FB stored and just choose from them. You can also automate your FB. The link to learn how to turn this on is on the same screen. I don't use it, but you can click on it and see if it is right for you.

Sellers don't have to put much thought into feedback for buyers because it doesn't mean much. The real question is why we still leave feedback for buyers. A simple transaction count for buyers would be just as meaningful as feedback.
Feedback is voluntary on both sides, so if you don't want to leave feedback on purchases, there is nothing forcing you to do so. Don't be surprised when your buyers don't leave feedback, as many feel the same way you feel.
Fewer and fewer buyers and sellers leave feedback. I assume that is why eBay added the number of items sold to a seller's items for sale display.
