"Feedback does not affect your seller performance here on eBay"
I recently wrote to eBay about a neutral (not negative) feedback I received. I'm a top rated plus seller and in the past (last year) I've had neutral or negative feedback removed by eBay upon request.
It seems that eBay is no longer removing such feedback for TRP sellers. Wondering what other's experience has been.
Also... I am curious about the policy enunciated below: "Feedback does not affect your seller performance here on eBay." So dozens of negative feedbacks on an account does not somehow jeopardize one's TRS plus selling status?
Or am I misreading this?
The following two paras are excepted from the reply I received.
I understand your concern about receiving negative feedback, but I hope you'll appreciate that the Feedback Forum is a place where buyers can share their experiences freely and openly. The good thing here is that, this feedback does not affect your selling performance.
Feedback does not affect your seller performance here on eBay. If you check our Daily Deals page, most of the sellers featured do not have 100% feedback. I assure you; this negative feedback left does not define you as a seller. This feedback is a great opportunity to show your buyers how you handle a problem, the feedback can still be revised, most notably into positive, so let’s look at your options for doing that.

That's correct. Feedback does not impact you seller performance rating. When you look at your Dashboard, you'll see what DOES impact your ratings.

Feedback is the buyer's evaluation of the transaction - not eBay's evaluation.
