Feedback as a buyer - beyond stupid to be required to review purchased item
Not sure why ebay puts more attention to requiring the buyer to review purchase item over seller performance.
When I check a sellers feedback I want to see how they rate as far as communication, shipping, packing etc., not how much Todd in Idaho likes the music on the used CD he bought.

Mentor1 year agoFeedback comments from buyers are voluntary and are for rating the seller's performance in the transaction. The comments appear on the seller's feedback page.
Providing a star rating for the item itself is also voluntary, and is separate from feedback for a seller, and the average rating appears on the product page or in the search results.
