Feedback
What is the preferred method for feedback on an item that you never received, with slow, or no communication (they finally respond 17 days after the order was placed)? A refund is offered, with the explanation that the item ordered could not be found. You've never seen it, have no shipping data, no tracking, no real communication with the seller, etc. Do you just leave those spaces blank on the feedback page? Or do you give them one star, two stars, or what? I would hate to give some seller a bad rating due to my ignorance of the proper method.

Mentor3 years agoThe seller owes you a full refund. Any feedback left will be removed once the refund is processed, so I would not waste any time leaving feedback.

OP3 years agowooden_flower,
Thanks for your opinion on my question. I intend to take your advice the next time such a rare situation occurs. I find that most eBay sellers are very considerate and take great care to satisfy their customers, but there are always those rare individuals or organizations who just don't seem to care. Just yesterday I received a like-new hardback that was shipped in only a PLASTIC envelope...no bubble wrap, no cardboard front and back, no paper wrapped around it, nothing for protection. It arrived with only the two upper/right corners bent, so I considered myself lucky. My scathing comments in their Feedback should alert them to their deficiency. Thank you again for your advice.
