You cannot set your whole profile to Private and still sell on the site.
If you do not want your feedback profile to be seen open the link below. However, if you send offers or bid on auctions you may have offers declined or bids cancelled by having private feedback. A buyers reputation is based on the feedback you leave for others.

If you want to hide purchases from a spouse/friend/family members, change your password and do not tell them what the new one is or set up a 2 step login verification.
