Feedback
I don’t leave negative feedback often. But when I do the person really deserves it and eBay typically removes so the eBay community doesn’t know not to buy from that certain seller. So do not buy from this crook in Ohio. Total liar and untrustworthy. [Edited by Moderator]

Mentor8 months agoHi @1manband3 On the first four pages of your Feedback Left for Others, there are four negatives. So eBay must be letting you leave them if they don't violate policy. The same rules apply to everyone. If you were unable to get your negative removed, apparently it didn't violate policy. But your reply sure did. It's not super professional or within policy to call your buyers names. The buyer could have that removed if they asked. Good luck!

It's likely you're violating a policy within the comments of those negative feedbacks. Not on purpose, of course, but eBay has some prohibitions regarding feedback that aren't intuitive. It's easy to commit one because of simply not knowing.
Since the feedbacks have been removed, I can't check them for you. But this Help page lists some of the reasons eBay will remove feedback: https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/feedback-policies/feedback-policy?id=4208
Your posting here is an illustrative example. You weren't aware that it's a board policy violation to specify a member in a negative context? It's called "name and shame" and it isn't allowed in the forum. Check in the side column on the right for the link to the Community guidelines. Don't be surprised if that name gets removed, when the moderators detect it.

OP8 months agoOf course I can’t name anyone seller on here. Just like leaving feedback can’t leave negative feedback either. But I had one negative feedback the 18 years I have been with eBay and they wouldn’t remove it. Just goes to show how discriminatory eBay is. And how they pick and choose. Time to quit buying on this racist site

Mentor8 months agoAfter leaving neg feedback, if the seller contacts ebay and states that the neg violates ebay policy, and ebay agrees, the neg can be removed. Do not include any information in the feedback that can identify the seller, refer to a case being filed, asking ebay to step in, etc.
