Feedback
I asked a seller to leave me positive feedback twice
And the second time I left him a message he sent a message back that said
DONE
And when I checked to see if he left feedback he did
But he said I was being rude in the feedback he left me
Said I had left 2 rude messages
The first message I left I said
I left you positive feedback for you
I would appreciate very much if you would leave positive feedback for me also
And the second message was
Basically the same
But I added
That was the reason I don't like to leave feedback is because the seller doesn't leave it for me
I would have been a repeat buyer
But not now
I don't think that was rude

·2 years agoFeedback is voluntary. Over the past 15 years, sellers have seen a steep decline in buyers leaving feedback, as newer buyers didn't seem to want the hassle of after-sales feedback or surveys. But, for the most part, sellers have still maintained a higher rate of posting feedback, probably with the hope that the buyer would be more likely to reciprocate.
When a seller asks how they can get a buyer to leave feedback, the answer is usually the same — it's best to let it be. Badgering the other party will usually result in a less-than-positive comment. Since a seller is only allowed to leave positive feedback, some don't bother — and it is best to let that be, as well.
