fee on shipping when label is purchased through ebay
on a 1.00 sell and 1.30 shipping cost eBay makes total sell 2.30 and changes .65 fee then total profit for seller is .35. this is why others are trying to get ride of eBay and start a new site. I'm really about to go myself. on sells that low i need to make around 75% minimum.

Your title, above, is not quite accurate.
Where you, the seller, purchase your shipping label makes no difference to eBay's fees.
eBay's Final Value Fee percentage is charged on the Total Amount Paid by the Buyer.
That total amount includes the price you sell one of your cards for + the shipping/delivery cost shown in your listing + probably some sales taxes. Only five of the 50 states charge no sales taxes. Your buyer(s) might have to pay additional costs if the delivery state requires them, such as Colorado's 28 cent delivery fee.
Selling on eBay is a risk for the seller, just as it is for sellers who open store-front shops.
Selling low-priced items on eBay, such as athletic trading cards, seems to be a difficult way to make a 75% steady profit on, especially when they sell for $0.99 to $1.50. On the other hand, some of your cards have been bid up to $2.50 or more. That should help, if you keep a running average of your profits per sale.

It's tough to make much on low dollar sales, I understand.
How many ounces are your packaged items?
You can ship for as low as .74 if your item is 1 oz (and still charge 1.32 to the buyer)
