FedX extra shipping charges using EBAY shipping algorithm
I was charged an extra 60% for under postage, of a delivered package, by FedX. I used EBay's algorithm. Therefore the customer underpaid, but leaving me the extra cost of shipping. I used the FedEx ground/Home delivery. The only thing I can think of......was that a business address, therefore an added cost or is EBay's algorithm wrong.
Thx for your attention

Mentor4 months ago@64sprintr You can try disputing the surcharge, it is a dimensional weight surcharge though.
Only eBay customer service can file the dispute since they are the Fed Ex customer. I recommend contacting CS on social media to ask them to do this. Keep in mind that Fed Ex does sometimes add incorrect surcharges but there are CORRECT surcharges that you can read about on the Fed Ex website.
Personally if I have an item that is too large or heavy to ship via USPS then I use UPS and buy the label from PIrateship.com. Pirateship helps with insurance claims and surcharge disputes. UPS does have a list of valid surcharges on their website too. UPS does not add surcharges as often as Fed Ex does.
Social media is the best way to contact customer service for this issue.
Here's how to contact eBay general customer service. ( I feel that it's ok to use this option since it does affect your bottom line.)
Click this link> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814
Then Type PAYOUT In the chat bot box on the lower right.
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.
Or you can also contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.
