FedEx One Rate shipping covers declared value up to $100 for no additional charge what happens if item is damaged. USPS requires buyer to make claim at a postal facility, How does Fedex handle claims.

I have never tried to file a claim with Fed Ex because I never ship with them. They are going to consider eBay the customer the same as UPS does which makes filing claims tricky.
Never ship Fed Ex ground economy because insurance is not going to pay out. Fed Ex will say the damage occurred while USPS had the package and USPS will say that it happened when Fed Ex had the package.
