Fedex shipping problem with Ebay calculator

Question

I was recently charged for increased cost of Fedex shipping label.

I used the Ebay shipping calculator and entered the correct weight and size of package.

I chose Fedex due to the lower cost, being able to pack in a larger package to be safe and still stay within the cost to my customer.

To be charged after the packages were delivered to my customers does not seem right.

If Fedex or Ebay had something wrong with their app, why am I being charged?

@ardysoldies Fed Ex is KNOWN for adding surcharges and billing you later. I personally only use UPS and buy the label from Pirateship.com if I have a package that is too large to ship using USPS.

That said you might be a victim of the recent site wide issue with Fed Ex.
