fedex returned item to seller in error. How do I get shipping refund
Fedex returned package saying it was undeliverable. UPS was able to make delivery. How do I get FedEx to refund shipping expense

Mentor1 year agoAre you sure it was for an address problem, not a refusal, return to sender, or unsafe place to leave the package?
If an address problem and the address is shown to be correct without modification the carrier will resend the item at no cost, they do not refund.

OP1 year agoA month later, after returning the package even though the delivery address was valid, they tacked on an additional shipping charge of over $13 saying that the package weighed 2.40 ounces while I had stated it to be 2.38 ounces. Shouldn't have made a difference since a 3 lb package cost is what I paid for 2.28 ounces. I was totally ripped-off by the incompetence of FedEx

Mentor1 year agoFedEx is not going to refund the shipping expense. They shipped the item to the destination and it was unable to be delivered. Once the package was turned over to FedEx the shipping charge is non refundable.
