Question

I have an item with a value greater than $1,000. However, the FedEx box indicates a Declared Value maximum of $1,000 (for $16.50). How do I get coverage for the full value amount?

@hewo-6793 I would use UPS to ship and buy the shipping label on Pirateship.com.

You can buy insurance for up to 10K on pirateship. They have the same discounted shipping prices as eBay but help you with insurance claims if needed and surcharge disputes.

Let the buyer know why you have to change shipping carriers.
