FedEx Charged More for Shipping Label! Why?
I'm new to selling used auto parts on EBay and have been slowly learning the ropes. I was charged extra shipping by FedEx after paying right under $30 for shipping on the item. I added an extra inch for package to the length width and height. Also added 5 pounds extra to item to ensure no additional costs would occur. The item in total was under 20 pounds. But they still charged me an additional $16. How can they charge extra if I listed it correctly through EBay? How can I offer free shipping without knowing what I'd pay for shipping in first place since they can make their own prices afterwards? Just very confused on this!
