·3 years agoIt's not Ebays fault you didn't see the package setting by your garage door.
The driver probably thought it would be safer there then setting by your front door.

If eBay contracts with FedEx, it becomes eBay's fault.
Leaving packages in an alley would never be safer. I could drive by and grab them faster that the lazy FedEx driver needed to check the box on his schedule stating it was delivered. This is a townhouse complex with multiple garages in a row. He/she does it because it is easier than walking to the front porch. And many of us are retired and don't leave through our garage for several days.
The only solution seems to be to not purchase from eBay until there is a new driver here.

Mentor3 years agoI would call your local Fed Ex office and complain. It would seem that the Fed Ex driver would leave packages by your garage regardless of who the sender is...other selling platforms, retail stores, etc.
