Hello guys, I just started doing ebay two weeks ago and i already ran into a delima, maybe someone can help me here. I already printed my shipping tag from the ebay but my customer was insistent about wanting me to ship his item via FedEx only. I paid for it again. So, my question is, how to change in the my ebay the shipping so I can get paid for the fedex? Or does it not charge until the bar code is scanned(did not use it)? I realized that if he is not charged then I ended up paying for it. He is supposed to be the one to pay for it(lowered price to accommodate it).

@filipinoflipper Was Fed Ex less expensive than the Priority Mail? I personally would have said sorry I only ship USPS as Fed Ex is known to add surcharges and bill the seller later.

The buyer already paid you for shipping. You just have to void the first label.

Buyer pays you for the item price and shipping. You use the buyers money to buy the shipping label because you have the item.

If you are subject to fund holds you might have to "front" the money for the label using your back up payment for selling costs or PayPal. Then you wait for the buyers payment for the label in your payout to your checking account with the rest of the proceeds from the sale minus eBay selling fees.

You can void/ cancel the label within 28 days of purchasing it from the actions drop down menu next to the label on this page>

The sold item will have two tracking numbers so be sure to let the buyer know which tracking number to watch. You can not remove the extra tracking number.
