Federal Law Violations
Hello, I don't like leaving others out to dry. Like a seller I messaged about a product they had labeled wrong. I gave them the name of the team the shirt was actually representing. In hopes it might help them sell it by getting it in front of the proper fans eyes. Well recently I had to purchase and replace a catalytic converter. Well the unit I received ended up being sold as new but even my mechanic felt it looked used. This is where the problem arose and I was informed that it is against federal law to sell or purchase used catalytic converters without a recyclers license or permit. There are so many flat out used ones on here that it would be an 8hr. job to contact them all. As much as I wouldn't mind the loss of competition, I wouldn't want anyone to end up facing federal charges because they didn't know. As many units that are on here makes me wonder if Ebay knows they are participating in acts non compliant to federal law. Should this situation simply be left alone?
