Fed-X terrible service
Does anyone understand why anyone would use an inferior shipping service. Fedx is more like USPS, as in watching the tracking go around in circles wondering when they’re going to stop and finally deliver. It’s the most unorganized business I’ve ever seen. Frustrating, planning around incompetence, because maybe one in 15 deliveries might just get there on time. While United Parcel Service is outstanding, and on time 99%, and, no damage. I depend on transportation schedule, a lot with my busy, schedule, if it’s not going to be the promised “2 day delivery “ then don’t say it EBay, or the scheduled time, The service is like night and day with the two entities. I understand mistakes or imperfections, but man, Fedx just generally is insufficient and have terrible package handling. United Parcel, may be more expensive, but they will ship anywhere, and anything? I know, I worked there, so I definitely have a dog in the fight, and to be able to have first hand experience on who truly has the customer in mind and who doesn’t. Fedx, definitely doesn’t give two cents for the customer. They prove it over and over again. I’d hate to see how they treat a high volume shipper. You definitely can’t run a business knowing Fedx is a partner in it? Please stop using. They’re not worth the savings. 5-7 days delivery from any part of the United States is terrible considering your told 2 day delivery. I would of added pics on the tracking to show the idiocy on the shipping, but it doesn’t give that option.

It sounds like you've come to a decision regarding your carrier of choice, so I won't offer any suggestions ... but I am going to pile on FedEx. I will never send anything via FedEx.
In the past, on three separate occasions over a period of about three years, I bought musical instruments from Sweetwater Music. It so happens that Sweetwater used FedEx to deliver their merchandise.
On each of those occasions, the package I received was damaged, punctured. And I'm not talking about a little puncture either, I'm talking about a big old honkin hole you could put your fist through. Both fists at the same time.
There's a happy ending, three happy endings. Every time, Sweetwater had double boxed my instrument, and the inner box was still intact, and none of my instruments was damaged. No thanks to FedEx, though.

Mentor1 year agoIf Fed Ex is doing a terrible job for you, then I suggest going to UPS as you seem to like their delivery a lot better. I use USPS because they are more convenient for me. I have to go out of the way to use either UPS or Fed Ex and their prices for light weight items are far more expensive than using USPS.

OP1 year agoThe hard thing is, I’m on the receiving end, so I don’t have the choice, but like good customer service, the company shipping my merchandise, could offer me to pay the difference, and I definitely would, to get undamaged, on time service.
