fed ex extra charges

Fed ex entered the wrong amount of weight for an item that I shipped. They say its 15lbs, is is actually ounces. I was charged without the ability to dispute. Who do I contact?

@bergelectricllc That sounds like a possible dimensional surcharge. Only eBay customer service can file the dispute since they are the Fed Ex customer. I recommend contacting CS on social media to ask them to do this. Keep in mind that Fed Ex does sometimes add incorrect surcharges but there are CORRECT surcharges that you can read about on the Fed Ex website.

Personally if I have an item that is too large or heavy to ship via USPS then I use UPS and buy the label from PIrateship.com. Pirateship helps with insurance claims and surcharge disputes. UPS does have a list of valid surcharges on their website too. UPS does not add surcharges as often as Fed Ex does.

I recommend Social media as it's the easiest way to reach an agent.
