When prompted to share my thoughts on Ebay's new policy on Purchase History this is what I replied to Ebay concerning faulty ink cartridges: I think it stinks. I purchased ink for my Canon Printer last year. Out of 4 cartridges one partially worked, 2 did not work at all and one is still in its' original package. My Canon printer is not used that often. I could not possibly notice within 30 days whether a product is defective. I inserted another ink cartridge from another supplier and the printer worked fine. I tried to use your ink cartridge on another Canon printer and it also did not print but it also worked with an ink cartridge from another supplier therefore indicating that there is something definitely wrong with cartridges from one of your merchants. In trying to get relief from this faulty sale you now state a new policy of only guaranteeing products for 30 days. When I purchased these inks that was not your policy and so therefore should still be under the original.

I am now waiting for a reply from Ebay or perhaps a member from the Ebay community

eBay has guaranteed items for 30 days from date of delivery since I joined 18 years ago. This is NOT a new policy.
PayPal allows 180 days from the date of purchase to file an ‘Item not as described’ case … so you can file with PP if you’re still within their time limit.

There is NO "new" policy regarding returns. Ebay has and always has had a 30 day Money Back Guarantee.
You can file a dispute through Paypal if you used Paypal to process your payment.
