Faulty item returned for repairs, seeking late resolution
Summary: a.bruant purchased a vintage watch that stopped working soon after it was gifted. They returned it to the seller for repairs at their own expense, but it has been over two months without a resolution or communication from the seller. inceptions advised that since the timeframe for eBay intervention has passed, a.bruant should consider contacting their financial institution for a chargeback.
I purchased a vintage watch from a reputable seller who promised a warranty. Watch stopped working soon after I gave it as a gift. Seller requested return for repairs. I shipped at my own expense. It's been more than two months without resolution. Last communication was over a month ago; seller claimed to be returning it to me after repairs. Did not send any tracking information. Seller will not reply to my messages. Since this began several months ago there is no button for returns now. It's unclear how best to resolve with the seller or ask for an intervention from eBay. Thanks for any advice you can offer on how best to proceed to get a refund or the item I purchased.

Unfortunately, it's too late for an intervention from eBay. You have 30 days from receipt to open a case. At this point, you can contact your financial institution about a chargeback so you'll at least get your money back.
