Faults Advertising
I recently bought a custom T-shirt (XL) that should of read, “IT’S A (Your name) Marshall THING - YOU WOULDN’T UNDERSTAND†But another XL shirt came that came read, “I AM NOT SHORT - I AM FUN SIZE†.. as yes I am overweight, but I understand that mistakes happen.. and I notified the seller.. as I bought this to make a statement at Christmas, and noticed that the seller was having a “BIG SALE†in RED letters.
As I believe they were having a pre-sale in smaller blue letter at the time I ordered the $26 plus t-shirt. So I asked for an upgrade to long sleeve as a fair and just companion for this mistake, believing there was an even BIGGER SALE happening (after Christmas sale) and I was told that it would be $7 more… and that they don’t change there prices all year.. and sent me screen shots of orders to such fact…
AS I BELIEVE THIS TO BE “Faults Advertising†and not sure if eBay cracks down on such advertising by sellers, given that eBay can and does monitor what is happening on its sight and it must see this happening.
I am not sure how to proceed to make this sight better for both sellers and buyers. As it would not be that hard to make a stupid AI that can’t see such “BIG SALE†or “SALE†in bright colors to attract customers to buy such products, when they in fact are not on such “advertisement sale†suggests.
I hope a “Marshall†can understand what is in a name.

Mentor2 years agoThe easiest way is to go to your Purchase history, locate the item. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. You will need to click on MORE to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. You print out the label, affix it to the box, and have the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund you within 2 days. If no refund, go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
