False Vero Claim For Copyrighted Materials Without the Owner’s Permission,
I'm a small seller and I've been purchasing Olight flashlight at a discount and reselling them on eBay for a profit for several years. Recently Olight has filed three false vero claims against me stating I used copyrighted materials without the rights owner’s permission. I take all of my own images and write all of the descriptions in my listings. I cut and paste nothing from their website. The pictures of the items show their logo because its printed on the outside of their boxes. I don't believe this is a vero violation. I've emailed them, but they refuse to response. Do I have any recourse here? It appears as if Olight is using this dirty trick to dominate the eBay market. There used to be a lot of sellers on here peddling their products, but the market has suddenly and inexplicable thinned out. My guess is they are doing this to all of us to cut out the competition.

Mentor3 years agoAlthough I understand your frustration there is little you can do. eBay set up the VeRO program after losing a lawsuit for allowing counterfeit items to be listed and sold. The VeRO member has total control over their items being listed on eBay. If they have asked eBay to remove the listing then eBay must immediately comply. There is no recourse to a VeRO removal.
