False info on seller location.

Question

I buy alot on ebay and i prefer to buy from american sellers in US. I perchased a item over a month ago from a seller who had listed he was in New York so i purchased from him and item has not arrived so i Message seller auto Response was sent to me he was on vac at fall festival so i researched where CHINA i am so angry over this. If i would have know i would not have bought from outside us. If ebay allowes false info like that why is there a Selection on location? I always do US. He should be...

Glad to see you have had at least 1,000 successful transactions on eBay. I wonder why you would write off millions of sellers on eBay because of one bad transaction...

You can tell where a seller is registered by looking at his feedback page. You'll see his country of registration below his user ID.

eBay does not allow sellers to misrepresent the item location. There are some sellers from China that do ship from US warehouses, but too many do misrepresent the location. If you know of a seller who does that, use the report link on the item listing above the description to let eBay know about the violation.

When it's past the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History, you have up to 30 days to use the option next to the transaction to open a case for an item not received. The seller will have 3 business days to prove delivery or refund. If he doesn't, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
