False feedback
How to appeal an ebay false feedback decision. Buyer claimed item was new unopened while the post showed pictures of item outside the box and description states open box item.
There seems no way to contact ebay on this.

Mentor5 months ago@hanky987 No returns does not mean no refunds. Has the buyer filed a not as described return request case? Let me know as that is a separate issue.

Then say briefly in the box what happened.
It is best to request a feedback revision BEFORE you reply to feedback.

OP5 months agoThe post clearly states open box and pictures clearly show item out of box. I don't understand how a false feedback issue to obviously false is allowed. The reply from ebay is that the buyer simply did not remove the false statement so it stays. Now there is no way to contact ebay to contest their decision. They say it's been addressed. I have no way to defend myself against this false feedback.

OP5 months agoI went through the process and even though two issues were raised the false feedback was not removed..
"The buyer is raising an issue that was correctly disclosed in the listing"
"Personal attacks that could harm the reputation of the seller or their business and could not reasonably be viewed as constructive criticism"
Is there no way left to resolve this fairly?

OP5 months agoI got an email today stating the false feedback has been removed. Just yesterday they said it would stay. If it's your intervention I appreciate it. Bottom line is it's corrected.
