False Description and No Refund
I bought an item that had no returns listed, but the issue is that the description was false. The listing said the control panel fits a specific model of AC which is my AC model number. The problem is that the board doesn't work on my AC with that model number. This should be a valid reason for a return. What can I do in this situation?
Thank you.

OP11 months agoThank you for replies. Not the best customer experience that's for sure. No common sense being used. It doesn't fit means product is bad, but maybe it was originally planned for clothing. Should have been more clear. I guess I'll have to try to sell it.

Mentor11 months agoYou needed to specify "doesn't match description" rather than "doesn't fit".

OP11 months agoAdditionally, I submitted a request for refund, and seller said it was sold as is and closed the case. I can't seem to do anything else.

Mentor11 months agoSellers cannot cancel return requests. What reason did you choose when you filed the Return Request?

OP11 months agoI selected it does not fit.

Mentor11 months ago"Does not fit" is not a valid reason under the Ebay Money Back Guarantee, so the seller was able to deny your return request. You should have chosen "does not match description" in order to force the seller to accept the return request.
