False and fake items being sold
I have been looking to purchase a set of Srixon ZX7 MKII irons and since I have bought several sets of clubs in the past from eBay, here I began. The issue is that if you search Srixon ZX7 MKII iron sets on eBay you will get a major amount of hits that are selling the wrong items. All irons made and called MKII will have that stamped on every iron in the set, without exception. I purchased a set of these and did not notice that the MKII was missing and had to return them for a refund (that I am still waiting for). In letting people know this, I am being told that I am wrong and that even certain Authorized Srixon Account sellers on eBay are asking why won't I just buy it and if it is false they will refund it. I have already been through that and I also have already confirmed from Srixon what I stated about the stamped MKII branding. What appears to be missing from any eBay item is the ability to flag something as wrong or fake and no obvious way of letting eBay know. The seller who sold me the fake ones reposted the same ones again with the same SRIXON ZX7 MKII BLACK CHROME IRON SET 4-P KBS Tour 120 even though he now knows that they are absolutely not the correct MKII clubs. Any suggestions?

Counterfeit items are not allowed to be listed on eBay at all. No one is authorized to sell counterfeit items. That fact alone does not stop some people from trying to sell them, however.
The problem is that unscrupulous or uninformed sellers can list genuine items and then deliver counterfeit items.
It is not always possible to look at a listing and know in advance exactly what, if anything, the seller intends to deliver. For one thing, a scammer can simply copy a listing from a genuine seller, using a genuine photo of a genuine item.
Except for a few specific categories of items that go through authentication, eBay never sees what the seller ships or the what the buyer receives, so there is nothing for eBay to check unless someone complains about what was received by invoking eBay's money back guarantee.
Sellers are responsible for the descriptions they provide, and buyers should not assume that eBay screens the listings in advance.
As long as counterfeits exist and there are folks trying to sell them, buyers will still have to be on the lookout for them, and avoid deals that are obviously too-good-to-be-true, whether they are being sold by accounts registered overseas or by domestic sellers wittingly or unwittingly buying counterfeits from overseas to sell here.
Buyers that doubt their ability to distinguish a genuine article from a counterfeit one should only consider purchasing from trustworthy sellers that have an established reputation for delivering exactly what was described, and should avoid deals that are too-good-to-be-true, or deals that are offered by inexperienced sellers that might disappear soon after the transaction is made, or else be prepared to get items authenticated by trusted sources within thirty days to be able to take advantage of eBay's money back guarantee.

OP1 year ago@eburtonlab Thank you for your prompt and precise answers, I really appreciate them. I really do follow all of these 'rules' and have never worried so much about any of this before but the amount of sellers unaware that these are incorrect clubs is what alarmed me. There seems to be hundreds of them and the difference in costs of the two different sets is upwards of 500 dollars. Anyway, if needed I will report any sellers who do not change their listings trying to sell the wrong/false things

If Srixon (or whoever is the actual rights-holder for those specific clubs) contacts eBay and requests it, eBay will remove any listings that are infringing.
