False Advertisement and eBay no accountability
I bought a cell phone, long story short. false advertisement. I proved it with pictures instantly. anyway, it's been a hassle trying to get a refund. the case was open on the 17th, then on the 22nd they put a hold on it. every day I've been able to contact them through phone with the option. and on the 27th I was supposed to get a refund in case closed or whatever it is. today the ability to contact them has been removed exactly the day and I'm supposed to get the refund. or the day the hold stops and refund happens. this is ridiculous
how can this ability be removed on the day, but all the other days I contacted them talking to them directly through the phone saying the seller was asking me to pay for the shipping back which I would not do. not paying for anything back to China that wasn't my fault. so here I am today the 27th I can't contact eBay. is this something normal. no accountability

Mentor8 months agoIf the seller is from another country, s/he will have to send enough funds to cover return shipping, because the seller cannot provide a shipping label good in this country, or refund in full without having you return the item. If the seller does neither, click on the link to Ask ebay to step in, when it shows up in the case.

Depending on what one purchases from that region it can be a challenge to return an item or get a refund. You can try reaching out to eBay via Social Media but the path of least resistance may be filing a dispute with your funding source, PayPal, credit card, etc. However, as soon as you do that eBay washes their hands of the transaction.
