False Ad, now I want a Cancellation
Friday night Jan 30, I saw an Ad with a picture and TYPED description for a VCR Player and two blank VHS tapes. After I placed an order the purchased discription only included the 2 VHS tapes. I immediately cancelled the order. Now ebay has changed the wording on the original ad to only show the VHS tapes and they took away the VCR Player picture. In the message to me from ebay it says the seller has 3 days to cancel my order, but might not be able if the order is already shipped. I Cancelled this order within seconds of my purchase after I saw that it lacked the VCR and was only going to send me a couple blank video tapes. Now I am a little angry.

-First, you can only request a cancellation, only Sellers can actually cancel.
You are protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from the date of receipt: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy
Based on what happened you can still file for a return as explained here: Go to the item in your Purchase history and file a RETURN using the reason "Does not match pictures or description". eBay will issue you a pre-paid return shipping label regardless of the Seller's return policy. You return the item and the Seller will have 2 days to refund you. Failing that you go back to the claim and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.
You can report a Seller here: Report an issue with a seller | eBay
