Fake tracking number?
The tracking number I received from the seller does not appear to be valid and the seller has not responded to my message.

Mentor2 years agoA tracking number only helps the seller if it actually shows delivery at some point -- so there is no benefit to issuing a totally fake number that cannot show delivery.
It may be a valid tracking number that has not been scanned yet, though. It may be updated as shipping progresses.
If the tracking shows delivery but you receive nothing, it may be a tracking number associated with a different package to a different address in your area -- so called "false tracking" -- in that case there are steps you can take once that happens.
