Fake product received

Question

I recently bought a Luke Skywalker figure in November that the listing said was from 1977 . I recently had it sent to AFA to get grade at and they told me that it was a complete fake. The figure inside the blister was actually from the retro collection from a few years ago. The backing was reproduction.

do I have a case to try to get my money back?

Unfortunately, you have waited to long to take advantage of the eBay Money Back Guarantee, it only protects you for 30 days but below is what you can do in the future. At this point the Seller is not going to refund you so you will have to pursue a refund via a dispute with your funding source.

You are protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from the date of receipt: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy

Go to the item in your Purchase history and file a RETURN using the reason "Does not match pictures or description". eBay will issue you a pre-paid return shipping label regardless of the Seller's return policy. You return the item and the Seller will have 2 days to refund you. Failing that you go back to the claim and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.
